24th Lux Style Awards Celebrate Pakistan’s Creative Excellence at Mohatta Palace

The City of Lights glittered brighter than ever as the 24th Lux Style Awards (LSA) unfolded at the iconic heritage site Mohatta Palace, celebrating Pakistan’s finest achievements across Fashion, Digital, Music, Film, and Drama. True to its theme, “A December to Remember,” the evening brought together the country’s most influential artists, performers, and industry leaders for a night of elegance, creativity, and celebration.

The ceremony commenced on a deeply moving note with a soulful rendition of the national anthem by children from Zindagi Trust, setting a tone of unity and pride. The evening was hosted by acclaimed actors Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui and Sanam Saeed, with the script penned by celebrated writer-director Sarmad Khoosat, ensuring a seamless blend of sophistication and warmth throughout the night.

One of the most significant moments of the evening was a heartfelt tribute to Sultana Siddiqui, President of HUM Network, whose decades-long contribution to Pakistani storytelling and entertainment was honoured with the LUX Change Makers Award. The award was presented by Samir Sultan, General Manager Personal Care, Unilever Pakistan.

The awards night featured a rich tapestry of live performances, reflecting Pakistan’s diverse artistic heritage. Highlights included a sitar symphony by Waqas Hussain, soulful vocals by Hadiya Hashmi, electrifying beats by DJ Shotbox, and a dynamic drumming performance by Aahad Nayani. Adding classical grace to the evening, renowned kathak dancer Tabitha Simrin delivered a spellbinding performance alongside her troupe.

The musical crescendo of the night belonged to the legendary Abida Parveen, whose powerful and soul-stirring performance left the audience mesmerized. She was honoured with the Unilever Chairman’s Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Amir Paracha, Chairman of Unilever Pakistan, with an evocative narration by Adnan Siddiqui and music maestro Faisal Kapadia.
