Bol News has announced the addition of renowned journalist Absa Komal to its team as a senior anchorperson. With a career spanning over a decade, Absa has established herself as a respected figure in Pakistani media. Her journey began in radio, followed by stints as a news caster on ATV, and later as a news anchor and program anchor on prominent channels such as Samaa, Geo News, and Dawn News.
Notably, Absa moderated Geo News’ flagship program “Report Card” for several years before joining Dawn News in 2020, where she expertly hosted “NewsEye,” a popular current affairs program. At Bol News, Absa will host a primetime show in the 10 pm slot on weekdays from Islamabad.
Absa joins Bol News alongside fellow senior anchorpersons Batool Rajput and Nadia Mirza, marking a new era for the channel’s primetime lineup. Bol News expressed pride in introducing these talented women who will lead conversations and bring powerful voices to the forefront.
