Mega Motor Company (MMC), in partnership with BYD, the world’s No.1 New Energy Vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, has announced the launch of BYD Sealion 7 and BYD Atto 2 in Pakistan, marking another major milestone in the country’s transition towards clean and sustainable mobility.
Unveiled at a dealership launch event in Lahore, the two all-electric SUVs strengthen BYD-MMC’s expanding NEV portfolio by addressing both the premium performance segment and the urban lifestyle category. Bookings for both models are now open nationwide.
BYD Sealion 7: Performance-Led Premium Electric SUV
Positioned as a luxury electric SUV, the BYD Sealion 7 is engineered to compete with leading global premium EVs in terms of ride quality, safety, and advanced technology. One of BYD’s highest-selling models across the Asia-Pacific region, the Sealion 7 delivers strong performance with 380 Nm of torque and 308 hp (230 kW), accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.
The SUV also boasts a braking distance of 37 meters (100–0 km/h) and an ultra-long driving range of up to 567 km on a single charge, positioning it as a compelling choice for drivers seeking a performance-oriented yet refined electric SUV experience.
BYD Atto 2: Smart Electric Mobility for Urban Pakistan
Designed specifically for everyday use, the BYD Atto 2 is a smart, all-electric SUV aimed at Pakistani drivers looking for an accessible and cost-effective transition to electric mobility. The vehicle features BYD’s signature intelligent technology and a thoughtfully designed cabin, offering keyless start with NFC card access, a 50W wireless charging pad, electric and ventilated seats, and an intuitive interior layout.
In its segment, the Atto 2 stands out as the fastest vehicle in its category, achieving 0–100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. With up to 75% lower running and maintenance costs compared to comparable ICE vehicles and a driving range of 380 km, the Atto 2 combines efficiency, performance, and value.

Both models are built on BYD’s proprietary technologies, including the Blade Battery, renowned for its safety, durability, and thermal stability. They also feature BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, enhancing range, charging efficiency, and overall vehicle performance, along with the industry-first 8-in-1 electric powertrain, which integrates key components to reduce weight and improve reliability.
