On a crisp autumn night in Lahore, Pakistan’s most awaited cinematic romance, Neelofar, took center stage as its first song was unveiled at an exclusive screening hosted at the historic Sir Ganga Ram House — a venue that beautifully mirrored the film’s timeless spirit.
The evening was graced by the film’s leading stars, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, who welcomed a select gathering of artists, musicians, and media figures. Hosted with effortless charm and humor by Yasir Hussain, the event offered an intimate glimpse into Neelofar’s musical soul, setting the tone for what promises to be one of the most heartfelt releases of the year.
Sung by Vicky Haider, the unveiled track struck an emotional chord with attendees — a lyrical, tender composition that encapsulates the film’s poetic essence. The song reflects Neelofar’s central theme — a story where love transcends sight, and silence finds its own melody.
Neelofar stars Fawad Khan as a writer and Mahira Khan as Neelofar — a visually impaired yet luminous soul whose emotional depth anchors the film’s narrative. Written and directed by Ammar Rasool and co-produced by Fawad Khan, Hassaan Khalid, and Usaf Shariq, the film has already been hailed as one of the most soulful love stories to emerge from Pakistani cinema in recent years.
