Namrah Abbasi Returns to Television, Joins Newly Launched M News

Television anchor Namrah Abbasi has ended her brief hiatus from the screen and made a return to broadcast journalism by joining the newly launched news channel M News as a programme anchor.

Namrah was last associated with Public News, where she hosted the news analysis programme Public Pulse, which aired from Friday to Sunday at 7:00pm. The show earned recognition for its focused discussions on political and national issues.

She began her media career at Bol News as an associate producer before transitioning into on-screen journalism. Namrah later joined ABN News as a news anchor, where she went on to host the channel’s popular morning show Subh Ki Soch. She remained associated with ABN News in various anchoring roles before moving on to other projects.

Speaking about her return to television and her new role, Namrah Abbasi said, “Coming back to the screen feels like coming home. M News is an exciting new platform, and ‘Power Talk’ will give me the space to engage critically with current affairs and bring meaningful conversations to viewers.”

At M News, Namrah Abbasi will be hosting a current affairs and news analysis programme titled Power Talk, scheduled to air Monday to Friday at 8:00 pm. The show is expected to focus on major political, social, and governance-related developments, marking a significant addition to the channel’s prime-time lineup.
