Actor Nazish Jahangir has once again issued a stern warning to digital publications, social media pages, and online portals against spreading false and misleading information about her, stressing that doing so would directly violate an existing court-issued stay order.
In a detailed statement shared on her official social media accounts, the Fanaa and Kahin Deep Jaley star expressed concern over what she described as “a recurring cycle of misinformation” being circulated in her name.
“It has come to my attention that false and misleading information regarding me is once again being circulated,” Jahangir wrote. “I would like to clarify that there is a stay order issued by the Honorable Court which strictly prohibits the publication or posting of any news, reports, or commentary related to this matter on social media or any other platform.”
She further warned that any individual, media outlet, or digital publication found violating this court order would face strict legal action without further notice.
“Please note that any person or publication found involved in spreading or promoting such false content will face strict legal action without further notice,” she stated.
This isn’t the first time Jahangir has had to publicly address the issue of misinformation surrounding her name. Over the past year, she has repeatedly found herself at the center of online speculation and unverified reports. The actor has consistently maintained that she reserves the right to pursue legal remedies against those who spread defamatory or fabricated stories.
Her latest statement serves as a firm reminder to media outlets and social media users to exercise responsibility and verify facts before publishing or sharing information, particularly in ongoing legal matters.
Nazish Jahangir, known for her powerful screen presence and articulate stance on social issues, continues to maintain that she respects the legal process and expects the same from media institutions operating within the bounds of law and ethics.
