Pakistani-Australian singer Tariq Naveed has paid tribute to Pakistan-China friendship with his new song “Mil Baithe”. What’s remarkable about this song is that it was filmed at the iconic Great Wall of China, making Naveed the first singer after Justin Bieber to achieve this feat. A part of the song was also shot at Lahore’s historic Shahi Qila.
This isn’t Naveed’s first hit, as his song gained popularity during the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. “Mil Baithe” aims to strengthen Pakistan-China ties and promote cultural harmony between the two nations. The song has received widespread appreciation on social media, symbolizing the love and friendship between the people of both countries.
Naveed’s gesture echoes the sentiments of other Pakistani artists who have celebrated the friendship between the two nations. For instance, Ali Zafar collaborated with Chinese singer Xiang Minqi to release a song commemorating 70 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. The song, sung in Chinese, uses the blossoming of gardenia as a metaphor for the relationship between the two countries
