UAE Bulls crowned champions of 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 – Tim David’s unbeaten 98 off 30 balls powers 80-run victory in the final

UAE Bulls delivered a commanding all-round performance to claim their maiden Abu Dhabi T10 title, defeating the Aspin Stallions by 80 runs in a one-sided final at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Sunday night. Their dominant display was headlined by Tim David’s extraordinary unbeaten 98 off 30 balls, a knock that featured 12 sixes and three fours.

Earlier in the day, the Bulls had booked their place in the final by overcoming the Quetta Qavalry in Qualifier 2.

Batting first, the Bulls suffered an early setback when James Vince retired hurt without scoring. Phil Salt (18 off 8) provided early momentum before falling to Hafeez-ur-Rehman in the third over. From that point onwards, Tim David took complete control of the innings. Batting at a strike rate of 326.66, he unleashed a brutal display of power hitting, including a 32-run final over against Ashmead Nedd. His innings lifted the Bulls to an imposing total and took his season tally to 393 runs.

David was well supported by Rovman Powell, who contributed 24 off 20 balls and ensured steady rotation of strike during their 128-run stand. The partnership established an unassailable platform for the Bulls.

Defending a steep target, the Bulls maintained relentless pressure with the ball. The Aspin Stallions’ chase unravelled early when Andre Fletcher retired hurt for 2, followed quickly by Sherfane Rutherford’s dismissal for a duck, bowled by Fazalhaq Farooqi, who finished with figures of 1 for 2.

Captain Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scored with 18 off 15, but the Stallions were unable to build any momentum. Junaid Siddique (1/18), Iftikhar Ahmed (1/7) and Qais Ahmad (1/14) each picked up a wicket as the Bulls restricted the opposition to just 70 for 4 from their allotted 10 overs.

The comprehensive victory sealed UAE Bulls’ first-ever Abu Dhabi T10 title and capped off a standout campaign for several of their key performers.

Tim David, who finished the tournament as its leading batter, was named both Batter of the Tournament and Player of the Tournament. Andrew Tye (Vista Riders) was awarded Bowler of the Tournament, while Junaid Siddique (UAE Bulls) was recognised as UAE Player of the Tournament for his consistent contributions across the competition.
