Lahore Qalandars and PM’s Youth Program Conclude Talent Hunt Cricket Trials in Karachi

The two-day Talent Hunt Cricket Trials, organized in collaboration with Lahore Qalandars and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, have successfully concluded in Karachi. The trials saw thousands of young cricketers participating, with 15-member teams each for boys and girls being announced.

The trials were held at NED University Karachi, where aspiring cricketers showcased their skills to become part of the Lahore Qalandars system. Lahore Qalandars CEO Aatif Rana, coaches Marina Iqbal, and Riaz Afridi announced the selected players’ names in a press conference.

Aatif Rana stated that the participation of thousands of youth in Karachi is a testament to the trust in Lahore Qalandars’ vision. “We started our player development journey 10 years ago, and today several prominent players have emerged from this program. The Prime Minister’s trust in our mission has encouraged us to expand it to a national level.”

The selected players expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chairman PM’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan for partnering with Lahore Qalandars on this initiative. They acknowledged that this program will play a key role in bringing out raw cricketing talent from across the country.
