In a landmark moment for Pakistani gaming, the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) Season 2 concluded at PC Hotel, Lahore, on 25th October. It was the first time the tournament has been hosted in Pakistan, with international teams traveling in to compete over two days, 24th and 25th October.
For years, Pakistan’s gaming community has watched the world’s biggest tournaments from behind a screen. This time, the stage was at home. Sixteen teams competed in the final stage on finals day, with Team Wolves Esports taking the title in front of a live crowd.

Infinix Backs the Community
Infinix made the Infinix GT 50 Pro its main push at the event, putting its gaming phone in front of the community that matters most to it. Customers who bought the GT 50 Pro received four tickets, including their own, with VIP seat access to watch the best players compete in person.
“PMGO Season 2 shows how far Pakistan’s esports community has come. Pakistani gamers have never lacked talent, and with the GT 50 Pro we want to give them the performance to match it,” said Simon Feng, CEO of Infinix Pakistan. “We are proud to be part of this moment and will keep backing the community that makes it possible.”
A Growing Esports Ecosystem
With international competition now proven on home soil, Infinix remains committed to supporting Pakistan’s esports ecosystem and the gamers who drive it. The successful hosting of PMGO Season 2 Pakistan signals a new chapter for the country’s competitive gaming scene, bringing global attention to local talent and infrastructure.
